Examining Aggressiveness Levels of High School Students Whose Parents Have Different Attitudes in Terms of Various Variables

In this research; aggressiveness levels:of highschool: students whose parents have different attitudes were examined in terms of sex, school type, education:levels: of parents and level of family income. The sample of the research has been formed with 465 students from the schools in the boundaries of Ankara Yenimahalle Municapality in ¡996-1997 term. Aggressiveness Scale, Personal Information Form developed by the researcher and Parent Attitude Scale (Bilal 1984) were used in this study. The data were analyzed by Two Ways Variance-Analyses and Scheffe test. As a result, the common effect of the parents' attitude and sex, age, school type, education level of parents and level of family income on aggressiveness level v>as not found- significant. On the other hand basic effect of sex and school type on aggressiveness level was found significant. The findings were discussed in the light of the literature and some suggestions were made.
